Effective October 20, 2026
This explains what Held Studio LLC collects through held.film, including the Imagine, Build. pages, and what we do with it. The short version: we collect what you send us, use it to reply, and never sell it.
When you use a form on this site, you give us your name, work email and details about your project. Depending on the form, that can also include your company, the package you're interested in, and anything you write in a message. If you email us at hello@held.film, we receive whatever you include.
When you visit, the company that hosts our site automatically receives standard technical details: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you request, and when. This is how websites are delivered and kept secure.
We don't use analytics or advertising tools on this site. If that changes, we'll update this policy before we turn anything on.
We won't add you to a mailing list or send you marketing you didn't ask for.
If you reach out and we don't end up working together, we delete your inquiry within 24 months. If we do work together, we keep project records for as long as the work needs and as long as tax and legal rules require. You can ask us to delete your information sooner at any time.
We take reasonable steps to protect what you send us. No system is perfectly secure, so please don't send passwords, payment details or anything confidential through a website form.
You can ask us to show you what we have about you, correct it, or delete it. Email hello@held.film and we'll respond within 30 days. You won't be treated differently for asking.
We don't share personal information with other companies for their own marketing, so there is nothing to opt out of under California's "Shine the Light" law. You can still ask us about it at the address below.
This site is for businesses and professionals. It isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has sent us something, tell us and we'll delete it.
If we change this policy, we'll post the new version on this page and update the effective date at the top. If a change affects how we use information you've already given us, we'll say so here clearly.
