IMAGINE, BUILD.
For everyone: the episode
How a wood roof was built to ride out the next big earthquake.
Your project, featured in an episode of Imagine, Build. Then a film of your own, in your brand, for the clients and talent you want.
Episode 01 made with Zip-O-Laminators and KPFF.
The hardest calls happen out of sight. Clients and recruits only see the result.

A real example
Zip-O-Laminators made the glulam for Portland's new airport roof. Here's how one shoot became two stories.
01
Plan
We dig into the work and find the story only your people can tell.
02
Shoot
Your people on camera, about two hours each, and the work itself.
03
Edit
One shoot, cut two ways: an episode for the show, and a story for you.
IMAGINE, BUILD.
How a wood roof was built to ride out the next big earthquake.
Zip-O-Laminators
Zip-O's own film, told their way, in their brand, for proposals and hiring. Plus every frame from the shoot, theirs to keep.
Filmed in one day with Zip-O-Laminators and KPFF, the structural engineer.
Your project could be the next episode.
Founding rates from $5,000, for our first five partners.
Play it in the shortlist interview, before anyone says a word.
Give your client a story to celebrate. They'll share it, and remember who made it.
Put it on your careers page. Recruits see who they'd learn from.
Interviews, footage and animation, each made to make your work easy to understand.
Interview
We find the hard call, then let your people explain it. No script.
Footage
Hands, tools and crews: the moments only the people there ever see.
Animation
Your drawings and data become motion anyone can follow in seconds.

How we interview
We never ask, “Tell us about the project.”
We ask, “What did everyone expect you to do? And why didn't you?”
The whole ask: one conversation, and about two hours on camera for each person.
This week
Tell me about the work. I'll tell you if it's an episode.
Shoot day
About two hours per person. We bring our own PPE.
After the shoot
Your first cut arrives in about three weeks. The episode follows on YouTube within 8 to 10 weeks.
We're told the world's biggest problems are too big to solve. They're not.
When your project is on the show, your firm becomes proof that hard things still get built, by people worth working with.
For the engineer who'll pause it to see how you did it.
For the client deciding who to trust with the next one.
For the student who doesn't know yet that this could be their life's work.
For the family on the couch at the end of the night.
They all want the same thing: proof that hard things still get built.
Your project can be that proof.

The founding trade
Founding rates come with a small ask: a short testimonial, your name and logo as a case study, and a 15-minute results call at day 90.
The outline guarantee
Approve your story outline before we shoot, or get your payment back, less a $500 discovery fee.
Founding partners lock in these rates. As the show grows, rates rise, and we work with returning partners on the next one. Featured and Partner are paid when you book, Signature is half up front, and if your schedule slips, the shoot moves with it. Held is insured, signs NDAs and handles every on-camera release. Your film is yours to approve. Episodes are labeled as paid partnerships, and the show keeps final cut. Add aerials to Partner for $1,750, or Spanish subtitles to any package for $750.

Probably, if it was hard and your people did something smart to get it done. Buildings, energy, medicine, space: if it's worth understanding, it can be an episode. It doesn't need to be finished, and partners on the job can join. Send it over and I'll give you a straight yes or no.
There are two films. Yours is yours: your story, your brand, your approval. The episode is the show's, told independently like any good documentary, and labeled as a paid partnership. You check it for accuracy, safety and anything confidential before it airs. That independence is what makes being on the show worth something.
One conversation, then about two hours on camera each. Nobody needs to be a natural. They get the questions ahead of time, there's no script, and they can restart any answer. They'll sound like themselves on a good day.
With Partner and Signature: your film, your shorts, the stills and every frame from the shoot, licensed to you forever, paid ads included. With Featured: your finished film, licensed the same way. Held keeps the copyright.
You approve your film's outline before we shoot. If it isn't right, you get your payment back, less a $500 discovery fee. After the shoot, your film gets rounds of revisions with you, and your episode gets a publish date within 8 to 10 weeks.
Show them it's three budgets in one: a pursuit film, a recruiting video and months of shorts. Views depend on a lot, so I don't guarantee them. What you can count on is a publish date and a results report at day 30 and day 90: views, watch time, where viewers came from and how far your shorts traveled.
